Alexandra Rawlings

My name is Alexandra and I love tennis!

I would like to play tennis for a college team, open to a single or a double position on a team.

I have been on a varsity team since my freshman year at Olympus High School in both single and double positions. Olympus High School girls tennis team won the Utah State Champions 2022.

I am a Junior this year, graduating class of 2024. I am a 4.0 student with multiple AP and honor classes. I speak three languages fluently and one intermediate. I am an active member of my community and participate in community service through National Charity League (NCL) volunteer at a number of charities including Tennis and Tutoring for underprivileged kids.

My goal is to play tennis on a College/University team. I am a dedicated player with good tennis skills and great work ethics. I have a competitive attitude with a great sportsmanship attitude. These qualities make me a valuable player to a competitive tennis team.

The ideal environment for me would be to play for a team who works hard on the court and competes for championship as well as dedicates time to stay competitive in the classroom.

I hope to hear from you soon and discuss if I am the right fit for your team!

Recommendations

It has been a privilege to coach Alexandra the past 3 years on our high school varsity team. Although our team is highly competitive, she is always easy to work with and gets along well with her teammates. Alexandra is dedicated to improving; often coming early or staying late after practice. She always gives her best effort, which motivates others to do the same. She is competitive without being mean to both her teammates and opponents and has always been respectful. I loved working with Alexandra. She would be a welcome addition and asset to any team!

‘I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Alexandra Rawlings. I have had the privilege of coaching Alexandra on the tennis court since she was a freshman at Olympus High School. She is a talented tennis player but, more importantly, she is an amazing young lady. In order to reach the level she attained as a tennis player, she needed to be fiercely dedicated, extremely patient, hard-working, disciplined, focused, and willing to understand and deal with the ups and downs of the sport. She possesses all of these qualities and characteristics. In her competitive matches she was honest and fair, respectful to her opponents, always
gave the benefit of the doubt, and consistently displayed impressive sportsmanship.
As fine a tennis player as Alexandra is, she is as impressive in the classroom. The same work ethic that has made her such a good tennis player has made her a strong student. Alexandra is polite, and humble. She is a 4.0 GPA student and spends a lot of time giving back to the community through service projects and is a positive role model for all at Olympus High School.
Alexandra is a leader and I know her teammates, along with others, look up to her and respect her greatly. She is the kind of person you want on your team, attending your school, or working for your company. She is going to be a tremendous success in any field of endeavor she chooses.
